Growing up on a farm in Niagara on the lake, Ontario harvest time was always my favorite time of year. The aromas throughout the house from my mom and grandmother canning brought out my passion for Exotic Jelly. It was so busy at harvest time. The hustle and bustle of trying to preserve as much as possible for the winter. Creating flavours that are unique and tasty has become second nature to me. There is nothing like waking up in the morning with a new idea for a recipe. This is how a new jam, jelly or marmalade begins for your taste buds to enjoy.
I grow as many of the ingredients, as well as buying from neighbouring farmers to ensure freshness. In the Niagara Region, the quality, variety and supply of produce is endless.
